Mixed experience. The staff member couldn't clearly explain the difference between the e-bike and the electric cycle when I asked. When I decided to rent the e-bicycle, I felt like I was being interviewed — he asked many questions about my route and kept discouraging me from taking it, which was uncomfortable. He also warned me that turbo mode would drain the battery very quickly, but while riding I found that wasn't accurate at all — the charge held up well even when I used turbo. On the positive side, he did hold my luggage while I was out and returned everything safely when I came back. So the service was helpful in some ways but the overall attitude and inaccurate information made the experience frustrating.

I can’t recommend this rental shop highly enough, from the moment we approached the counter we were met with a really friendly response from the staff. Their knowledge of the trails was amazing and they all made sure we had everything we needed for our amazing ride up the mountains. My son & I did the 43km loop (approximately 4hrs) and I honestly believe this was the best ride I’ve ever done! The views, the trails, the cow’s 😂….amazing! Note….The ride up from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen is a killer 🥵 😂. The bikes were fantastic too and I’d recommend the full suspension e-bike if you’re doing this loop.

Enjoyed joking around with the guys in the shop. The e-MTB setups were modern, well maintained, and the tires looked basically new. They really care for their equipment. I ride a lot and appreciated finding a rental shop with great gear and folks who know the area, and know where to ride. Highly recommend!

The bike ride experience was very great and wonderful. However, we have been waited very long to be service. One of the young man and long hair his attitude was not friendly and rude. We don’t have another options so we have to go back anyway because the other local bike hire is closed. Lucky when we go back it was another nicer staff that’s help us with the hired. Lucky it doesn’t ruined my day. Thank you

This was the best rental I ever have done. I mtb in the States, but never with an e-bike. The area in Wengen is very e-bike suitable and friendly. No pressure on the trails like “you have to earn your climb”. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Staff was savagely awesome and the equipment was kept up great!

We hired 2 e-bike for a full day at a cost of over £150. My e-bike electrics stopped working around 2 to 3 hours into the day and we took it back approximately halfway through the day but was only refunded approximately a quarter of the bikes hire. Very expensive day

Guy who served us might have been the most miserable bloke I have ever met, he was rude, abrupt and lacked basic customer service skills. He was bald if that helps identify him, and I usually laugh it off but it made both me and my friend extremely angry to the point where we were going to report it then and there but thought better of it

My wife’s E bike quit working 15 minutes after leaving the shop. I switched bikes with her and I had to manually pedal the bike the rest of our trip. The shop refunded us for the one bike, but still made for an unpleasant experience

Es hatte keine anderen Leute im Laden. Die Bedienung war also schnell, aber die Einführung etwas langatmig :-) könnte speditiver sein. Leider gab es nur noch Velos in S und XL, die Ms waren weg. Wir wurden informiert, dass die nachbestellten noch nicht da sind und eine grosse Reservierung alle Ms bezogen hatte. Das war verständlich. Ein Velo war top und neu, das andere schien etwas älter und nicht ganz gepumpt (?). Soweit alles gut gegangen. Danke vielmals

Es war mühsam alle Infos zu Grösse und Gewicht von alle Mitglieder der Gruppe zu sammeln. Nachher im Shop, waren die Velos bereit. Wir wussten aber nicht wer Velo für welche Person vorbereitet wurde. Falls ihr nicht so viel Infos braucht, bitte fragt ihr dafür nicht..

3 stars for reservation since it wasn't necessarily clear I was reserving a bike for a full day (which is what I would've done anyways). Otherwise great experience! The man helping me get set up reviewed my bike route and recommended going around Männlichen starting south so that I could have enough battery to bike back up from lauterbrunnen to the shop. I would've liked to thank him in person since it proved to be sage advice!

Nous n'avons pas l'habitude de ce type de vélos, on nous a bien attribué des vélos de taille différente mais au final nous n'avons pas essayé plus que ça avant de partir. L'un des vélos était trop grand pour la personne l'utilisant, un peu handicapant à force sur la journée, dommage de ne pas nous avoir mieux orienté ou fait tester la hauteur (taille du cadre)

The bike shop in Wengen was the best shop we have been to in northern Italy, Austria and Switzerland. Great bunch of guys to work with. Very friendly and helpful--even helped us out during lunch when the shop was closed. Excellent quality full-suspension e-bikes, in new or nearly new condition. Helped us with software on our cell phones showing various detailed bike tours in the area, as well as mounting cell phone on my bike. Es war ein super Tag! Mein Kollege und ich konnten viele Eindrücke sammeln und sind richtig auf den Geschmack des Bikens gekommen. Leider hat sich bei meinem Fahrrad nach etwa drei Vierteln der Strecke das vordere Ritzel gelöst, sodass die Kette immer wieder herausfiel. Das war zwar ein kleiner Dämpfer, und wir konnten die geplante Route nicht mehr zu Ende fahren, aber wir haben dann versucht, möglichst direkt zum Shop zurückzukehren. In diesem Zusammenhang hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass mir der Shop vielleicht einen kleinen Rabatt für die nächste Buchung anbietet. Alles in allem war es jedoch ein sehr schöner Tag, und ich würde es auf jeden Fall wieder machen. :)
